friends

its amazing how interesting life is - always - period.

going into this weekend was just hard. i had little to no motivation to do anything. i must say that i was more than thrown off when my mom just out of the blue friday night was like, do you realize today would be nates birthday? i knew full well but the way she said it just so matter of factly was just odd. it didnt and almost still doesnt sit well with me. so needless to say i didnt feel much like going to church this morning. then this afternoon a good friend checked in and kind of brought me back to reality. then went out for a lovely run and it was glorious! friends (or my lovely sisters) have always been the ones to pull me out of a funk. i love them oh so much.

and on top of all of this i get to run a marathon in a week! whoop whoop! good times are close at hand!
